Canon EOS 6D Performance Review:

Watch the video review below for some beautiful examples of actual pictures taken by the 6D:

Video review highlights:

  • Image and print quality appears to be comparable to the much more expensive Canon 5d
  • Fast image processor
  • Good dynamic range and color rendition equivalent to the Canon 5D
  • Good high ISO noise performance due to DIGIC 5+ processor
  • Weather sealed
  • Not the greatest for capturing fast actions because it only has 9 AF points
  • Great for sunsets, sunrises, star trail or time lapses because of good low light sensitivity performance
  • GPS does not have an idle shut off time so it drains the battery even when the camera is off. This is resolved by physically removing the battery or disabling the GPS.
  • Wifi is not that beneficial due to poorly designed app.
