On the top of the Amazon.com home page you’ll see a link to “Today’s Deals.” Click on that link or the Gold Box picture to be taken to the deals page. There are often good deals to be found here. It’s like the bargain bin of Amazon.
Every day there’s a different “Deal of the Day” but if it’s a really good deal, supplies may be limited and the item may sell out before the end of the day. There are also lightning deals which only last for a few hours or until the max number of deals are claimed. Deal of the Day and Lightning Deals range from all categories from Electronics to Home Decor.
During the week of Black Friday, these deals are especially popular. And this is usually when I catch up on all my TV series because the season dvd and blu ray prices are significantly reduced for many popular series.
Amazon offers you the choice to sign up for their daily deals email list to be notified of deals. And if you’re afraid of spam, you can set up a separate email account just for mailing lists. That way you can keep your personal email spam free (well besides those “send this to ten people” chain mails from your relatives)
Additionally, follow Amazon.com on social media to get additional discounts. For example, “Like” Amazon.com on Facebook.com. By following Amazon on Facebook, I was able to get a free Kindle edition of Les Miserables, $5 off a $25 purchase, and other great deals.
